Sleep is the great restorative.
Sleep is the basis for memory, mood, energy and health. Sleep is a part of the normal rhythm of each day. Yet, almost 20% of American’s take medications to sleep. Try to improve ONE thing about your sleep. Go to sleep at the same time (preferably before 10:30pm), avoid caffeine after 2pm, relax for 30 minutes before bed with no digital stimulants, avoid alcohol before bed, try a cup of chamomile tea, or wake up at the same time daily.
These and other simple steps will help to improve sleep and prevent the need for medications for insomnia.
